

Is it new to your wrist? This is a bit smaller than your 4538 XXL, but it is so elegant. I admire the coin edge bezel as well. I really like the use of negative space on this dial. The indices are given a lot of blank space surrounding them. It has a very pure and clean look. Such a nice example of mid-century V&C.
It has a caliber 1001, correct? What do you think about the caliber 1001 v. cal. 1003?

Well, I do not have a watch given to me to commemorate years of service at a company, but I will raise my hand anyway with one of my favorite vintage watches. This is my Chronometre Royal ref. 6107 from 1957.
