Ulysse Nardin

I will post a review on this one later, in May. As for the UN news...

I have no damn idea...

Very excited, though...

Best,

Nicolas

This is different, in a good way, like the step lugs...maybe PP 175 stole its lines? [nt]

No message body

Well, UN gave some serious inspiration to the others...

One example? The silicon escapement... Since 2001.

Some came after...  wink

Best,

Niclas

Nicolas, I hope UN shows something to excite me as this one always has!

I still remember the feelings when I learned of it.  A real "novelty" to this day.

I was much more reserved, when I saw the first press release pics.

Till... I saw it in the flesh. As it is often the case. And immediately, I knew I had to get it.

As for Basel and U.N, I am very curious this year, with UN being part of the Kering group.

A good Basel Fair would be an excellent answer to those who doubted.

Best,

Nicolas

Same for me

Pictures couldn't excite me a lot. At a first sight, just the big date at 1 o'clock caught my attention.

Yet, once you hold it in hands, the finish and detail is just impressing. Similar to the watches weight and touch, the big box with book and hygrometer just knocks your mind out, and once you open it you are switched to respectful appreciation.

From outside yet also with the movement inside, a true masterpiece.

Absolutely. The only con is the weight... Quite heavy, I must say.

But weight apart, what a Watch!

And when you think that the Cal 160 was used in this Watch only, it is a big cherry on the cake.

Best,

Nicolas
