Hello, I have a passion for fine watches and over the last several years have been lucky enough to acquire some nice watches:  Two Rolex's (Sub and Daytona), an IWC, and a Breitling.  I thought I was done until I walked into a local AD that had an extensive UN collection.  I was immediately taken by them.  Really nice designs what looked like excellent craftmanship.  Long story short, I am the proud owner of a new Maxi Marine Diver.  I am really pleased with the watch.  I did some research on UN after getting it and it seems like a really unique company.  I did meet the NA rep for UN at my AD and had a nice chat with him.  So just wanted to say I have joined the UN family and so far am very happy with it.  A really quality timepiece.  I am going to try and post a picture but given this is my first time may not get it right.

I am really enjoying tooling around this forum.  A lot of good posts and interesting topics.   Somehow I have a feeling this may not be my last UN watch.  Here is another pic of my Maxi Diver:

I know that many, from Patek Fans to Rolex, Girard-Perregaux to JLC, will have objections, but I still uphold my claim that UN is making the best and most practical GMT mechanism, paired with a big date. The version you are showing is especially spectacular, while my personal favourite would be one of the variants with central sweep second.

Yes, really, a GMT U.N is aclever choice.
Son Now, Gpursey begins a serious and interesting collection.
1st A Chrono Marine, then a GMT...WOW.
I'm afraid the 3rd watch will be more expensive...A Freak, A Perpeutal Calendar, An Alarm like the Sonata???
