Instead, I would like to see the rear sides of your watches: be it movements visible through displaybacks, or massive steel or gold casebacks. Don't hesitate to show us watches other than Ulysse Nardin; a nice backside always deserves to be shown!

Although I love my UN Maxi Marine, the case back on my Speedmaster Broad Arrow is a lovely sight to behold...

... the Speedmaster's sea horse. It matches nicely the winged lion of the San Marco.

Alas, this derriere is not among my little brood, but it is very nice to ogle nonetheless--and a bit more interesting than the list of 18 gold medals that adorns the backside of my Maxi Marine Chronometer

I tend to wear the MIH more than any of these other watches. I was wearing it 4 days last week.The VC gets occasional wrist time, more formal occasions, the GO not much these days, and the UN, well that's out of my hands so to speak.

All pieces are spectacular, but I am especially astonished about the nicely stamped Monopusher caseback. I always had thought they were made only with the displayback. Oh, I just looked up my references: so your piece is one of the 175 made for the 150th anniversary in 1996? I was not sure they did really exist, since I never saw one, only the later version. Nice to see Mr. Nardin's portrait on a watch!

 first a regurgitated speedy made to look new as the original speedy had nearly stopped selling(synicism isnt dead)

a good marketing ploy to sell watches for lots of money(but actually very nice indeed)
 

and finally another Omega, but in 1916 the Russians didnt need fancy details, just the basics. not quite a UN Kremlin.

i cant believe that with all the watches i've owned and technically still own, i have so few caseback pics.

reminder to myself 'when i buy a watch take pic of its bum'

As traveling, I went in a watch shop, and the dealer showed me some fine pieces he had in his safe...Among them...This Mono pusher.
As I amlways dreamt of a Mono Pusher, you can imagine my suprise when I saw 3 years ago this piece, made in 1996.
