I'd never have sold this one ,but finally it came back after a bad trick a guy did to me.
And I'm very happy to see it again!
U.N Chronomonopousher ,in WG,medical chrono;
LE of 175 pieces.
The CMP function is very smooth,and the watch is stunningly comfortable to wear.

Not very keen with this strap ,and I'm looking for a nice one ,in calf or crocodile for a better look.

... that this strap, that apparently was "donated" by one of the ladies' watches, might look a bit ... hhmmm ... daring on this very classic watch.

But I am very curious to hear about that "bad trick" you mentioned. Would you mind telling the circumstances? Maybe we can learn from your story to avoid similar situations.

So you will understand what happened:
One of my "friend" saw this watch on my wrist ,A year ago.
During 2 months ,he asked me to sell him,and as I know him,he told me that he'll pay me 3 or 4 months after,after the summer,what he never did,and I had to fight hard to get my watch back...

So the lesson is(LOL):Never sell a watch to a friend that can't pay it immediately.SAD,no?
The good thing is that I love this CMP.
The (bad) surprise is that uuuugly strap,that came with the watch when he gave it back to me.Love your comments about it,Marcus...I was laughting reading them.

This is a depressing conclusion, but it is so true. After some bad experiences, I never contract real friends for a professional work; be it repairing the car, being a new kitchen for the flat. If there is a problem, it is always better to dispute with someone you don't know closely.

Thanks for the info, and I hope you will soon find a good replacement for that 'subversive' strap ...

Yes I'd love a little bigger size , BUT the dial is very open so the visual impression is that this watch is bigger than it is.
Strange...A bit like a Patek 5196....
BTW,this watch is awesome!

However, the movement is very small, so we would be left with what is described "expensive air in the case" - see this discussion: www.watchprosite.com /

You'll notice that these 2 watches are very similar ....And the hands are the same.

Good to see that UN is a real mix between the modernity and innovation , and the evocation of a nice past and history.

It was one of the 1st chronos, if not the 1st one, I wanted over a year ago when I got really bitten.
Never found one in WG, not that these UN are easy to find either... I bought a 1920's monopusher with a red spiral, but at 32mm, I almost never wear it.
Yours has these elegant italic numerals with the red pulsometer digits which I find understated and yet spot on.

I would be grateful if you ever heard of one for sale, or if you even got tired of yours (Galuchat bracelet and all),
just let me know. And thanx for the photos.

BTW...This is a fantastic piece,I read the UN book and was a bit sad to see that the Monopusher was quite not evocated except in the comics...
And about this special version...nothing.
Does anyone here knows how many years the non LE version was produced ???
I assume 2 or 3 years...But not sure.

I am a white metal person, and except for a couple of watches that my dad gave me, it s all steel and white gold, except when there is no choice but Platinum, like with FP Journe.  So it has to be a WG if there was ever one. 

I dont know much about how long these no LE were produced, but I suspect that it was not for very long...
