To produce a non date version would be such a simple dial change and virtually without cost (as an option) that you have to think they have done their homework and have reasoned it is not worthwhile.
Perhaps that is planned for 175 anniversary in 2021.

Why not ask Patrik and get an official response? Maybe a PuristS model with no date? (nt)

We don't need to ask Patrik, I was recently given this message directly by the Executive Vice President of Ulysse Nardin. The majority of clients want the date, this is a fact.
Does not matter what a handful of PuristS think... sorry to burst any bubbles here.
