I want to show you my first Roger Dubuis Watch: The Monegasque Club Chronograph

!!
Many of RD`s models are too "special" or "wild" for me, though the movements are part of the best the market offers. Especially the chronograph movements, as the RD 78 and 680 are the only automatic Chronos with microrotor - as far as I know.
This combines the beauty of a handwound Chrono where you can see all the levers and the practical aspect of an automatic watch.
The Monegasque line caught my eye and is my favourite RD line - though not very famous I guess.
The regular Chrono is very nice, but it is equipped with the RD 680. I really like the RD78 which is even nicer imo so I looked for a model with this caliber.
And this is the club edition. 1 of 88 pieces

...
Besides the nice movement it features one more specialty: The spectacular strap in "Chesterfield"-Design
The whole combination is perfect for me: The brown colours with the red gold case, the insert in the dial is made of organic material "Schildpatt", the bezel has a shiny brown DLC-Inlay... And of course the brown-strap right away like a Chesterfield-Sofa.
A real perfect match for a relaxing evening an a club lounge, sitting on a chesterfield sofa and enjoying a Habanos- Cigar ;-) .
Real style...
And all this with a technically perfect movement with Geneva Seal and classic column-wheel horizontal clutch technique.
Bravo Roger Dubuis!!
