My first zenith
Guys, just got back from Europe. Bought myself a Zenith Elite moonphase. It is so beautiful. And the price is amazing. My first white dial. Now I have 8 watches.
BTW, I almost bought another Rolex to add to my first SS Daytona. The prices there at the airport were amazing. Photos to come later.

. . . is nicely apportioned between the subsidiary seconds dial, moonphase indicator, and large date. I'd say it's uncommonly well-balanced aesthetically given the level of complexity.

I was amazed
They have rolex watches too. I couldn't believe my eyes. a submariner selling for 4,650 euro duty free! It is the previous model not the current one btw. compared to Sydney that is an amazing price. I found things to be very competitively priced in europe compared to Australia.

I bought a Daytona SS Black Dial when I left Australia for Europe. It was pretty difficult to get.
I think I understand why the Elite looks so good despite having an off centre star and sundials. it is these powerful and elegant hour markers. They are quite sizeable. they are like the columns in a classic building. they provide the framework of reference and immediately gives a sense of balance and beauty (not unlike the Panerai hour markers or numbers). the sundials can be put anywhere and won't have any serious impact on the overall feel of balance, elegance and power. Love it.
This Elite Captain Phase de lune is nice ...
though the design is asymmetrical, but balance as you said. It also not cluttered with more white space as the area at 3H is left blank instead of putting a non-value-added word "Automatic" in their other Elite Class moonphase models. With just bar type hour-markers also looks better too.
