Zenith

I saw this timepiece in the store recently and commented that it reminded me instantly of another model of a high-end watch brand. But I love it especially for its piano keyboard-like (maybe due to the shiny applied) hour indices in the dial and its unique “racing 10-seconds hand”. Plus the brand took the current craze of the integrated sport watch bracelet to another level with its easily changeable strap system. A rubber strap was included in the mix which comes in subtle olive green (for this specific model), that I found refreshing and a break from the usual black or blue rubber straps found in other brands. I like the size and design of the crown which makes it easier to adjust time, while the small date window with the white background blends it nicely on the silver white dial. The butterfly clasp on the brush bracelet makes fastening/unfasten the watch a breeze without causing any “skin bite”. Definitely Zenith has studied the market well and its recent product offering while “controversial” to some is a boon to others wanting to get a timepiece in their own pace and time.

While i spot your reply in the other thread,
here you show the Zenith i was talking about.
If i buy my first Zenith, this one is the highest on the list.

You swap even the bracelet to the rubber strap in your car, so it show how easy Zenith made the quick change system.

I am afraid of bracelets. Going more into the subject, if a watch have such a system of changing bracelets and straps, it could be easier for me to find a way to end the fear.
Cartier have also such a system, so more and more brands maybe know about the fear many people have for bracelets.

Screw in crown. I prefer no screw in crown.
For dive watches it is needed, so i accept it.
For dress watches slash sporty watches i prefer no screw in crown.
I accept a lesser water resistance for it.
My question is, is the Zenith Defy with screw in crown easy to handle?
I mean, is it push a bit and turn the crown easy in it’s position and close?

Last but least, the looks.
Green is good. It gives the watch that fresh looks.
Zenith launched also a green dial model, but isn’t it a 36mm model?
It would be good if Zenith launch a mint green dial Defy in 41mm. 40mm also good.
And a snow white dial in 41mm or 40mm. That is because i have no total white dial watch yet in my watch collection.

From pure and great movement to watch design and changeable strap system. Many times I have the tendency to be tired of a certain timepiece and would like to change the straps to leather or rubber. But the fear of scratching the lugs or the hassle of bringing it to a watch shop to change has deterred me from fully enjoying the watch.

Hope more of the luxury brands will follow the lead of Cartier and Zenith into this awesome strap system.

That a watch shop can avoid scratches?
Ones a watch shop ruin my Longines.
Not only this, the watch shop refuse to sell me a FC Monolithic and could not show me the green FC world timer.
But they gave me a watch box and replace a battery for free.

I received a magazine.
But also a magazine from the FC AD who do not refuse to sell me a FC Monolithic.
