PILOT TYPE 20 BLUEPRINT
I just noticed this new release. As much as I like the Type 20, I am not sure about this one. Nice blue but too busy. Your thoughts?

Yep. If you just looked at the dial, you wouldn't know it was a blueprint for a plane. Lovely blue, though (nt)

It's the blueprint for the dial of the watch, exact measurements for the placement of the numbers and text. [nt]
A sapphire glass is placed over the blueprint. On the glass are the numbers and text. So the dial has two parts, the blueprint and the sapphire glass. A standard sapphire crystal is then used over both.
I actually liked the silver dial version, with the rivets. But, this one doesn't do it for me. [nt]

Do you know the lume situation? The massive luminova blocks on the standard version are unrivalled.

The dial, yes it is busy, but also happy. The dial is ok, the crown is ok.

The concept is to make the dial like a framed print. There is a sapphire dial on top of the blueprint. It's described as a two-part dial The blueprint is the dial configuration
for the Pilot Extra Special model. The sapphire has the numerals and text on it, not stated though how it has been applied.
The needless text sensitive crowd should look elsewhere
I think it looks terrible! Saw it a couple of days ago and what shame.
They are now milking the cow over and over again just like the Richemont group. History is repeating itself here.
The blue color looks nice but the dial execution is terrible with all these writings. I can’t see myself wearing this for more than 2min.
A very bad release for sure. They should really think before launching new models.
