Zenith El Primero ChronoMaster 1997 (the 'San Gabriel')

This one's on its way to me right now so these are stock photos. A 1990s watch with a 1960s movement in a 1940s look. It seems a little odd to have an integrated automatic chronograph movement presented as a manual-wind vintage watch but I'd rather see this as enjoying the best of both worlds.
It’s based off the ChronoMaster line that Zenith produced in the mid-late 1990s of which the moon phase is perhaps the most well known. Can you share some more info on the use of enamel? That would be most helpful.
It turns out you are correct. There's a lot packed into the dial within its 38mm diameter case, but the enamel is clear. This is most evident with the sunken sub-dials and the ivory hue of the dial. [nt]
That's a good way of describing it. A cocktail of a watch made up of ingredients from the 1930s-1940s, the 1960s, the 1990s, and to be considered today in the 2020s. [nt]
Here it is in the metal: the 1997 Zenith El Primero São Gabriel: a beautifully-proportioned 38mm build from the 1990s, 1960s movement and 1930s-1940s look. Pleased.
