but I've never purchased a zenith because for me too many color on dial/subdial, and design variant.

The bracelet with the holes are cool, I can see it being controversial though.
I settled that need when I got the CP-2
Which has a much less busy dial than all of these other models.

I vacillated for some time between the regular production CP-2 (bronze case) and the Pilot Type 20 chrono.
While I finally settled on the Type 20, I think both models offer a less cluttered alternative setting for the El Primero (without date!) than any of the revivals.
The CP-2 offers the advantages of a more wearable size and an exhibition case back.

Interesting - neither appears to be the current regular production CP-2, which, to the best of my knowledge, comes only in bronze or "aged" steel, with a display back.

To which point, I don't think it ever fully registered with me that the LE wasn't a flyback movement.
