intrigued by the Zenith skeleton designs...
It would take a huge passion to buy a Zenith new... but I appreciate the direction they're taking... I have only seen the highest level of finish and execution in all Zeniths... I don't love all the new skeletons, but they caught my attention for sure... some of these designs are really striking... It's so challenging to get a 'collector' to spend 'retail/discount' on almost anything these days... ( pre-owned or 'I'm an AD's personal pet' is the only way to go) and you have to second-guess anything 'too unique' wondering if you'll 'hate it 3 months later, affectionately, but yes... these are very, very cool IMHO. Check them out if you have not seen them...

When I first saw the "original" Zero-G Gimbal setup, I was astonished by what appears to be a technically accomplished yet intricately traditional in aesthetic execution.
This new model appears a little simplified - albeit more practical in execution. I feel that it lost its "charm" of the intricacies of the original design... The original "cage" now appears gone, though, the balance wheel is brought to the top of the gimbal which allows easier access for regulation. Perhaps to keep the cost more accessible?
Indifferent about the skeletonisation and new case design trends.
