Eddie Platts the founder of TimeFactor Watches and TZ-UK Forum
It is with much sadness that I would to inform the wider Watching Community of the sad passing of Eddie Platts.
I appreciate that maybe many of you will not have heard of his name.
But he created the TimeFactor online website, providing such watches as the Dreadnought, Speedbird, Smiths and Precista to name just a few.
But he also started up TZ-UK Watch Forum, which is where my passion and knowledge for watches grew.
Eddie, had sadly not been well for a while and had recently undergone a course of Radiotherapy.
His passing was reported on TZ-UK yesterday afternoon.
RIP Eddie.
