Very nice pair of pateks.
The back of the 5124g really looks good.
The sapphire crystal back shows the beauty
of the movement. The 6000g calatrava also
looks great.

The blue dial on the 5124G.........
is really nice and gives an elegant contrast with the white gold, however, I prefer the Breguet numerals and the feuille hands of the previous version.

Love the 5124
As I said earlier to Mike, I come slowly to like very much thos rectangular watches.
This 5124, in spite of its very unusual case, looks very clean and pure, especially its dial.
The way it is 43mm long compared to the 47mm of the 5200 make it very attractive and suiting better to smaller wrists.
This version of the 6000 is very appealing and I imagine it may please all the amateur who would like a casual Patek for the week-end.

Wow those look good...
I've always been a big fan of the 5124. The Art Deco case is fantastic!
And the 6000G was what got me started to love Patek Philippe with its 240 caliber movement!
They certainly do look good in blue!

About two years ago
I was encouraged by Salon to apply for a special dial. I mentioned it here in Patek Forum.
Because I had already several watches with 240 movement and blue dial, I applied for ref. 6000 with blue dial. By getting that, there would have been a nice collection of different 240 movements and blue dials. Finally Geneva refused and now they made it...
