Hi, have been digging around old forum posts and tried to find more information on differences between 5131J -001 and -014. 

Congrats, very, very beautiful piece. I have the G, the more I look at the J, the more I like it.

you already mentioned, I would say the execution of the enamel is different.

Never had the chance to compare them site by site, with patience and a good loupe.

It is not up to me to judge them, because I can´t proof it. Still I have my favorite version ...

are you referring to a favorite between these 2, or referring to another WT favorite? I find them all little wonders of art so finding it hard ot choose a favorite myself.

Intriguing… one with the "original" enamel execution and the later with the updated timezones (and likely shorter production run). 

tell us which one is your favorite and why

gets the ...-001 in J and G, but quite a few pieces have been below my (very high) expectations after carefully looking in detail. Would like to see all version at the same time for comparison and for a "final judgement" about pros and cons. Even when I could take picturs with comparable setting at a different time, it could be interesting. Maybe we would detect even more differences ...
So far I have to compare pictures in my head, only.
