Patek 5205R-010
i have ordered the Patek 5205R-010. this is the second patek in my collection as i have the Nautilus in white gold.
any feedback on this watch?
5205 has a great design...and to me personally, the R version is eye catching
I saw it in the Beijing Boutique (now renamed Maison) and it was lovely.
Depending on the ones' preference on whether to have an understated or more flashy watch, the R might or might not be suitable.
Question: why did you not post your question before ordering it ??
To me it looks nice but bold ...
as it looks like more than it is and not only because of the similarities with the Ref. 5207R-001. The latter comes with black date fonts and that is something I would like to see here as well.

Dial R
What dial color did you order? Both very nice but black would be my personal choice in this reference. That would be the case for both 5205 in either the G or R.
I really like this watch and would be keen on one in WG with black dial but for now the 5960p gray dial is too much of an overlap for it to find a place here.
If you already have a Nautilus in WG getting this as a dressy RG seem like a great choice to me. Again depends on preferences in colored metals but assume you thought this one through before placing the order. Enjoy the longing while the wait is on and look forward to some pictures once it has landed on your wrist. Also thoughts after using it would be great to read. Congrats!
