Patek Philippe

hi all ,have a patek 3433 it has the number 23 stamped on the inside of one of the lugs,i think it is factory stamp but have never seen before hope someone can help with this regards chris

Most stamps are on the under surface.

I am not sure what it relates to.

I will recheck mine when next at the bank.

what is have is serious a compliment for your beautiful watch.

The Ref. 3433 and the 2551 are two of my favourite Calatrava´s, because of the puristic & sophisticated style.

The simple & sophisticated case. The puristic dial, hands and indexes. Not to mention the very special "three" indexes at 12. The superb "PP" crown and a great movement in both cases. What is not to like?

...by posting that picture of the 2551..  Beautiful watch. Really spectacular. My wife knows by the way I was looking at it that I need to find one. She knows she has already lost this battle.  You don't see watches like that anymore.   If somebody from another planet asked me what a wristwatch is...this is what I would show them.

May I recommend something? Show them a ordinary watch as well, because if not they won´t understand what we have been able to produce at the peak ;-)

Hi, I think the numbers on the inside of the lug of your 3433 probably correspond to last few digits of the case number (stamped on the inside of the case back) This to make sure the right caseback is screwed back on to the watch after service
