My 5960R is already discontinued with this grey colour and if the rumours are right the 5980 will no longer be in the collection come 2014 either.

It is true
I spoke with Mr. Pettinelli directly and the 5960 and 5980 will be discontinued after 2013. The movement will most likely get a new home but he was not forthcoming with those details. We will just have to wait and see and trust the worlds greatest watch company.

I only wore two watches for the picture and strings on my "watch bearing wrist" are soft. They do not leave any marks at all.
