Is there a watch that you miss ...
Even comprehensive collections can´t show everything, but this one I would more than appreciate:
The case and size of the Ref. 5078 (without the minute repeater slider) and a (chronometer) version of the caliber 260.
Maybe with a level of finishing, which we never saw before in a "simple" (modern) Patek Philippe
Black or white dial? Well, both would be even better but I would be more than happy to see at least one of them ...

Reference number could be 5178 , to make it a real PuristS watch

I would love a modern simple Patek dress watch! I feel that all simple Pateks are more or less old fashioned. That need not be a bad thing in itself but I would appreciate a modern Patek that does not look like 1950.
Maybe take the wcase of the 5146 in white gold and its dial and hands. Remove the annual calender subdials. Use a black dial and black date disk with date window at six.
Voila. My dream of a modern Patek everyday watch!
But I guess I have to shop at Chopard who, apart from the Piaget Altiplano, seem to offer the only modern dress watches, e.g. the L.U.C. XP / XPS.

If is realized then is time for me to get a new patek.
I already have my Patek Dream Watch.
It is my 5110 P.
An icon, a reference, a beauty, a jewel, an envouting watch.
In my point of view, Patek cannot do betteer bthan this one, as their WT has no competitor, to this day.
There is the PP WT, and, far away, the others.
Which is not the case of their elegant Calatravas or the Chronos, or the QP, the MR and sso on...
As for the Chronos, a re edition of the 130 with the sectored dial would feed my fantasies, though.
There is maybe a watch which could join the WT, this is the Celestial 5102... For that, I would dream to see a dedicated movement in this wonderful watch, not a base borrowed to the Nautilus 5712, some Calatravas and the 5110 / 5130s.
From the receent past, the 5100 Ten Days still makes me dream. It is in my short list.
As well as the Ref 3417 " amagnetic ", and, still present in the catalog, the 5960P.
With all these watches, I would happily declare that my PPcollection is closed.

Manual caliber indirect Center seconds: I would love that Patek Philippe laucnh a 12 lines like 12-120 SC
-For the case I have a crush on the 2523 World time that never existed as a simple three hands. The sharp lugs reminds me of typical style of Gerald Genta, on the later royal Oak or some Constellation.
I would modify some details on the bezel to make it larger than the case itself (like on the 1578).
-For the Dial, I would love a salmon/rose/orange dial with a silver circle for the seconds,l inspired by early 96 references with center seconds.
I know this is cuckoo crazy for your wise taste, don't be too hard with me.
-For the metal : White Gold, Platinum or Palladium would fit
That's what I roughly designed with CAD, but I didn't do the dial effects rendering with different brushed. It is not as good as a photoshop but it gives an idea.

I really like all your ideas, except the 12 lines movement. Why? What for?
Inspired by 12-120 SC (produced from 1935 until 1953), but with appropriate modern features and todays size, would be my suggestion.

Patek need another manual basis caliber imho
215PS is not enough imho, there were always in the past 10 lines and 12 lines manual calibers for men's watches. Here we have only a 9. That is OK, but for example when I see what has Lange or Vacheron and I think Patek has to improve in the are of a simple manual caliber with another "superior" manual caliber
I would go in the direction or the inspiration of the 12-120 or 12-400 or 27-400 with some improvement. I must say I regret some details of finishing that are seen on vintage calibers and their architecture is nice, But I agree something in the idea with modern features.

If there is a watch that I miss, thus it's an affordable one so I won't talk about RM, Tourbillons and so on.
I share your appeal for the 5235's caliber and I would select this engine too.
But I think I would really consider the 5153 G case and dial I find beautiful:
(and a hidden Tourbillon :p)
