Comments:
Some of the all time classics in there. In terms of the 5271, the unbalanced part doesn't bother me as much as the relative 'clutter' on the lower half of the dial. But I'm nick-picking.

I have received this piece for quite some times and it actually grows on me.
Comparing this to its predecessors, this new 5270G stands out on many points (in my humble opinions):
1. Legibility of different fonts on dials: Maybe I am getting older, so I really like the new font size and dial
2. Movement: Comparing to 5970G, I could feel more robustness of the movement when winding, although times will tell how it will be after a couple of years of usage. Winding a crown is really smooth. If I were to rank, 5270G is better than 3970G, and 3970G is better than 5970G
3. Thickness: this 5270G offers better diameter to thickness ratio

Some may say that this new dial lack symmetry, which I agree, but maybe I get use to it already because of another brand chronos and can live with this imperfection...
and can live with this imperfection... Your 3G collection is gorgeous ...
and together with ALS "imperfection" you must be close to the watch lovers heaven

I would go with the 3970G, it just looks basic to me. I know it is thick to width and I have never seen one in the flesh.

With all three G perpetual calendar chronographs laid out, I think I have a favorite among the three. Do I dare say that I like the layout of the 5970G's dial the most? The tachometer right seems to be a nice touch.

3G could stand for two things.......
The precious metal that each PP is crafted from!
But also three generations of the same watch..........Which to choice??????
I don't care, as it would be an honour to wear & own any of them
