Hi,
Longtime timepiece enthusiasts and as the new guy here.... Seems one should provide a 'wrist shot', so here is one of the Pateks (my new fave). The hallmarks on the side of the case are deep, so odds are she has never been polished. Was the AD's personal timepiece. Yes, i know 2:10 is better for hands, yet this is the actual time the photo was taken so... Hope this is ok.

I like seeing the hands at 12.00 h, as it lets us see the dial from an unobstructed perspective.
Enjoy!

Perfect at 12:00 position.

I have been long time eyeing on this model (in PT case), but my bank account keep drying up once replenished a bit. I know, I should STOP buying new ones for a while, but just can't resist..... Need to find a job that pays more
In other words, almost hopeless!
Thanks for sharing the photo in your first post and I would love to see more! Come back and post often, please!
Welcome aboard!
Ken
3970 is an icon in Patek collection.... a wonderful watch!
Here is mine.
Fabio

What an entrance, thank you & keep them coming.
Welcome to the forum....................you can come again LOL
A most humble thanks, you guy are truly a great group! Ok, one more....
Here is a pic on the 3820 that is here, and please note the dial is actually medium creme colored and the rose gold case and hands are augmented by rose gold Arabics that are less stylized than the normally dialed 3820 and gold 'droplets' for the minute indices (so yes, very rare dial). It reminds me of my personal dream watch, which is the 3939H. Both are akin to the Harrods 3923R special that was here (only 36 of those were produced), which was also rose gold with gold droplets for minute indication yet had a silvered dial.
