So , we are expecting some nice watches for the 10th anniversary of this site.
What about Patek ? Maybe a simple watch to make it more or less afoordable ?
We know the Beyer and Tiffany dials ...
Patek won't probalby make a special watch for a site, I can't imagine they would create something unique.
But what about a simple, classic 5711 with a personalized PrustSPro dial ?
Now I need to see what I can sell cause in this case I'm in LOL
Im just dreaming ofcourse..
With it, the watch looks like a cheese, with the name on the cover.....
Therefore, a purist watch doesn't need to have its name on the dial.
It is a pursit watch for what it is, not for the name on the dial.
A total no go for me.
But it is just my opinion, nothing more.
Best,
Nicolas.
First off the 5711 is not a 5711/1A which you are posting.
The 5711 is a limited edition patek meant to pay tribute to the nautilus 30th year anniversery
there is the 5711J , 5711R , 5711G
Im not here to spoil the fun but I think posting a picture of an iconic watch on website with some puristpro
label is like taking a 5970P and posting a picture of it with nascar racing flags.
I know this post is in fun but to me it dimishes the brand and just looks like typical internet fodder which will confuse a would be enthusiest to this high end brand of watch.
I get the fun in some of the big bucks poster PP owners on here taking an entry level patek and making a mockery out of it.
Just keep these thing to yourself. I dont see this as anything an enthusiest would enjoy seeing as I am one.
Patek is about tradition and values. I also get tired of the posts on this forum with people asking about resale value and if the watch will retain value.
ITS A PATEK PHILLIPE !
relax pal this is just a discussion forum and if yo dont like the content discussed here please4 by all means DONT participate
