Hello!  Does anyone feel that the analogue date display on 5712 can be partly blocked from view by the thick minute hand when it is moving in the area between 5 to 9, and for that it is almost impossible to tell the exact date?  Any owners find that disturbing in the otherwise a superb icon of PP?  Cheers!

You are right that the minute (and even hour hand) can partially obscure the date at certain times of the day but it is not an issue for me and it has never stopped me from being able to tell the date by twisting my wrist slightly!

Obviously many watches with complications have those complications obscured at certain times of the day. I guess if it is an issue for some people, the answer is to get a time only watch (or a Lange 1 or an FP Journe etc)!

You're right that it happens to most complications, though it may not be if the hour and minute hands were made to be finer than it is now on 5712...just a thought .  The perfect watch is hard to come by!!  Cheers!

the minute hand. It won't bother me at all coz in fact I can normally tell the date without having to look at my watch. Personally, I think the date indicator is more for decorative purpose than practical use for many people. And you'll be satisfied with PP6000 though if you have to refer to the date often.
