Patek Philippe

Does anybody know which buckle was originally fitted with ref.3439 (produced in 1962)?

Or depends on which country such watch was sold??

So the 2nd one is 'Henri Stern' buckle for US market!

It looks very much like the first one in overall dimensions. It has a "point" like the second one, but the point is extremely subtle (perhaps a 15-degree angle). I don't have a picture of one but you can find a picture of one on a well-known auction site (although that particular specimen is so worn that you can only really see the point from its back view).

Thanks for your information. The 1st one is actually from late 40's. I have another one from late 50's or early 60's Do you think this is the one you mentioned?

Of all the vintage Pateks I have from the '40's to the ' 60s I don't have any of the second type...they are all the rectangular ones in the first image.

Personally I prefer these too but I guess in terms of true authenticity it not a personal thing.
