Patek Philippe

I saw on ebay a set of 4 3970's , YG , WG, RG, Plt all with diamond dials. It says that 130 of these sets were made and the watches look to be old since they have Feuille hands and no mention of case backs. I have been collecting watches for as long as I can remember and have not seen one of these sets ever. has anyone have any knowledge of this? I thinks it is a neat set to have , if in fact there were 130 sets made that seems like a hell of a lot.

I've never heard of such set though, but would not be surprised to be confirmed that it existed!

Like Dje , I never saw such a set before and like you said, 130 pce for such a high-end set seems to be too much

It seems to be real but to me it's new

  The grey dial 3970 has a different set of hands....and its NOT leaf.  I am not too sure if this set is truly complete.  Is it possible, that one of them is actually a 3990 instead of 3970 ...?  I wonder.  The only way to find out, would be to inspect the original certificates.

Never heard of ANY 3970 sets. Just my $0.02....

the set of 4 PP 5026 calatrava during the turn of the millenium, and 4 matching watches of some sort placed within the case to make it a set, IMHO

the listing now does not show the set of 130 as it did. they removed the pictures showing 130 sets, I agree with the previous post, somebody put together 4 unusual dials to make the set up. That being said I wonder if the dials are original? How hard would it be to have the dials fabricated?
