Dear All,
How do we make choice between these two watches?
Which one you like more?
Cheers,
Did both use the same movement?
I think 5167 looks better on dial but plastic strap.
Does anyone tell me which model more confortable on wrist?
Cheers,
5167/1A is very lovely but the model seems look better in 5167.
Do you agree that 5167 's dial looks better?
........5711/1A.
I own 5167A and 5712/1A. I have also tried my friend's 5711/1A. Sure the 5167A will be more comfortable because of the rubber strap. But the 5711/1A will be suitable for all occasions while the 5167A is more for casual.
I have seen the 5167/1A in PP exhibition. The SS bracelet is not as good as the one in 5711/1A.
Should I take 5167 if Polo is my uniform weekday and weekend?
By the way, I am a 40.with small wrist Hong Kong man!
Best.
Eric
Looks equally awesome on casual and formal attire, you can even wear one with your pajaamas and take it to bed, obviously for decent reasons
since you are deciding just between the aquanaut or nautilus . IMO the nautilus is a much more significant watch in the PP lineup . The case design is an icon although both models share the same movement . So 5711 definitely !

My opinion of the "casual" PPs that I own:
5167 - goes well with my small wrist and is my most comfortable PP because of the rubber strap and the lightness in weight. Its black color easily matches polos of any color. I happen to be wearing it today.
5712G - similar in looks to the 5711, although it is slightly more sophisticated because of the moon phase and power reserve. It's a lovely watch but a bit dressy for polos.
5124J - the yellow gold version. Definitely a dress watch
5124G - I bought this piece a few days ago and thought it was a dress watch. Surprisingly, it goes well with some polos, especially khaki or beige colored ones. If you can lay your hands on this piece (available thru some ADs in HK now), check it out. Price is comparable to the 5167.
5135G - you may find it too big
5960P - brilliant piece, certainly a different league from a horology perspective, but not as comfortable as the 5167 on the wrist - it is a lot heavier...
So my recommendation is 5167 for you.
Sam
will take 5167 as my first PP when it arrives,,,,,,,
Does anyone tell me that how did the date of watch move? I mean it jump to other date when 0 AM or slowly move to other Date before 0 AM.
Cheers,
