1950's Calatrava
New member to the Patek Forum.
I have been searching for info on this watch online for some time and have not seen the same one anywhere. I would appreciate any of you Patek enthusiasts info on the following watch. Here's what I know:
-I inherited this watch 12 years ago from my grandfather when he passed.
-It was given to him in 1954 or 1955.
-18K, manual wind.
-Keeps time perfectly.
-Not the original band.
-Also, i am not sure of the last time it was serviced (very possibly never). Because of its age would you recommend me sending it directly to Patek Philippe?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly ref 3534 or 3416.
A lovely piece. The dial lookd pristine with excellent champleve enamel lettering.

It is a Ref 2501
I have compared the picture to my personal patek data archive - I can tell you by sure it is a Refernce 2501.
It is from the 50ies!
You may also look it up on the Antiquorum data catalog which provides auction results of the last 10 years also showing pictures.
