There a relatively few watches where the color of the metal makes an enormous difference - almost as if it is a different watch entirely.
3448 in white gold is one of them. Icey cool look for that beautiful uncluttered dial. As an owner and lover of the yellow gold, for me the white gold is even more appealing, much more appealing.
It’s not so rare that one can’t be found. But at multiples of the price of the.yellow it does make one ask, is it worth it even if one can afford such a super expensive watch.
I saw it at the Phillips auction preview in Geneva in May. I think it's going to be auctioned in Hong Kong? It was also said to be a special specimen known as Tokyo White. Of course, it had an incredible aura about it.
Well, I found this photo in 2018, so not the same, or it would be an amazing coincidence. ;)

You're right, why don't they make them? I wouldn't mind if they lost a bit of the handmade feel.
Seems like a really obvious reference to release...
...they could modernize it, keep it thinner (I'd like), and have a much cleaner layout...
