Ref. 5004: which metal?
Here are three Perpetual Calendar Split Second Chronographs ref. 5004 belonging to the collection of @ryochan5711:

- Platinum - silver dial (5004P)
- White gold - salmon dial (5004G)
- Rose gold - silver dial (5004R)
Rose gold is my top choice, for its unique warmth and vintage charm.
Next comes platinum, for the metal's inherent nobility and its monochrome appearance.
Finally, white gold, whose salmon dial certainly catches the eye, but feels a little less timeless to me.
Just my personal preference, of course: what about you?

I would have to go with the white dial P version as it is the most versatile and would work in both a professional and a casual setting ...
All three are heavy hitters of course, it doesn't get any better than this imho (well, the 5370P would be on par for me).

The 5004 is a pinnacle of modern Patek Philippe watches, equipped with a Lemania movement, so they're all wonderful. I want the rare R model.

The truth is that ANY 5004 is a dream.
But the rarity of A and the mere fact that patek made a grand complication in A is just bonkers and makes it super collectible. If not A, it would be a P for me.
Yes, I understand this idea of collectability. Not a major criteria for me, but I get it!
Yes, wonderfully understated. Second choice for me, but still incredibly desirable.
