My wife gifted herself this 2019 Patek 5231J-001. She wanted this for years.  Thankfully it came with a men's length Navy strap.  My wife quickly ordered her custom strap/stitch color.  Take your sweet time Patek in delivering her strap please!

I wasn’t interested in acquiring another piece for myself. My wife had an insane (well normal compared to we WPS guys) interest in this specific watch so it made sense to go for it.

she came to know the intricacies of Patek's caliber 240 micro rotor movement to a much much higher degree of detail than me. She figures if she's going to finally own her own watch (non quartz) then she's going to understand exactly how it works.
