Celebrating my birthday with a new pal !
About 12 months ago, I expressed my interest in a 5740. Having attended an exhibition with the entire regular production Patek Philippe line on display, the 5740 stood out on my wrist. Or,
it did not. That was the whole point !! It stayed flat hugging my wrist as if it was somehow part of the anatomy 😁😁😁. Combined with the symmetry of the dial, that particular hue of the blue, the heft of the white gold and also the 5740 being the first and the only (at least until later this week) grand complication in the Nautilus range, it has its own place in the history I think. When I was offered the chance to have it on my wrist on my recent significant birthday, I just couldn’t say no…
