Congratulations! I’m surprised that 5070 models haven’t gone up in value in at least 5-7 years. If you account for inflation they’ve lost value. It’s one of my favorite chrono references and historically an important reference for PP.

First of all a BIG congratulations on making your dream a reality! Interesting to me that as Patek “sports” watches have exploded in popularity and
value while many complicated Pateks have gone the other way - not these 3. 3970, 5004 and 5970 have become significantly more desired as evidenced by their sharp rise in value. This I think is a clear reflection of their historical importance, being PPCs and timeless beauty! Best, Patekova
