Just like everyone says, the 3700/1a is much sleeker, thinner and lighter than its successor, the 5711/1a. The 3700/1a weighs in at 113g while the 5711/1a is slightly more at 116g.
I first saw Nicolas’ post of this watch in November 2022 and made some inquiries through Gordon to track down this iconic reference in December, and had the added pleasure of meeting Nicolas in person at the dealer. Very satisfied with my first vintage PP purchase and have lost my vintage virginity!
