I didn't know that it had a nickname. But for sure it is one of the most interesting modern Patek ,for me, and still under the radar!
The Pt ones yes but the A versions are already above the radar, with the black dial flying sky high…congrats to you.
At this point? I knew for the black dial, I didn't know for the opaline dial. And what about the G Blue?

I will never understand this models slow start off the blocks compared to far less complicated less good looking models.
I do not accept the “there were too many made” reason either. I challenge anyone to give me the accurate numbers of the original P version compared to all subsequent versions.
For me this watch with its useful complications and sporty feel should be heading for the stars ✨.

What about, ‘Mr Under-appreciated’ (MUA).
Ever since it’s release back in 2006 (?) I had wanted this but never got round to it. I was patient, bided my time, eventually just pulled the trigger. My main worry was it going up in value, but luckily for me it just did not. Just great value.

I think at some point, people are going to realize this over the famous time only cousins.
Not sure they will.
As I believe that anyone that values one of those time only watches more than a serious complication will never see the light.
