One of the few modern Patek which are a true object of obsession for me.
An unusual case, a movement dedicated to this reference with a power reserve of ten days, and a captivating dial.

Rare and reasonable priced. I tried it once - its not really an elegant piece on the wrist...even if i must say that the Gondolo is Pateks most attractive line.
I guess it is just technically a gondolo in terms of reference, beeing a 50s and not a 30s piece

I find myself attracted to the rg with grey dial. Very unusual shape, so would love to try it on the wrist to see how it fits.

I remember this, I almost bought the yellow gold version.
At that time, I considered the price a bit steep, I regretted not buying it.

The shaped movement is fantastic...
my small ‘beef’ is having ‘low’ on the power reserve indicator on the right side. Think of a speedometer, higher is to the right, lower to the left.

Not my favorite Patek (the Gondolo in general) but certainly a ‘gentleman’ piece👍
Here’s my only Gondolo (a less rare 5124G) for which we ordered a new strap to make it less boring😀

I had the chance to enjoy one at the occasion of a lunch with a friend who was having the full set. I mean the REAL FULL SET ! I mean not only b&p but the four of them !!!

But no chance to see his G version as it was still unsealed in the bank vault, he wears only the P version, a stunning piece also 👍
