Yes, IMO, 5711 P 40th is very special, and the
5711P special client is just pure Patek DNA for understated elegance!
That's the other beauty I meant, congrats on owning one! :-) I recall it was a LE offered to select clients, but never knew any numbers on its production.
I would guess they certainly made more than for instance a rare handcraft, but probably far less than, e.g., the 5711P 40th anniversary... Do you have any estimate on how many were produced?

On the 5740 obvioisly the WR is restructed to 60m due to
The correctors. Officially they dont recommend swimming or diving. I believe thats just them being cautious! Tje blues are identical. The huge difference is platimum versus white gold. The platinum is very bright and very white and very heavy whilst the WG is more like SS or zinc. I hope the do a platinum 5740. Thats the one to get. My instagram karlstumke has more pics. Regaards

I see SS as a LE but not part of stsndard range.
Prices of WG would drop and that would seriously irritate some of the very collectors PP have rewarded by offering them this watch.
