Nautilus 5726
Hi
I’m thinking of getting myself a steel 5726. I thought steel bracelet vs. leather strap would be a fairly straight forward decision as I intended to buy one or the other and then buy the bracelet or the strap/deployment separately so I get the best of both worlds. That was until someone told me just now that the straps/bracelets are not interchangeable. Does anyone have a different view or different experience on this or is it correct that whichever way I go is a ‘forever’ decision ?
Really appreciate any thoughts.

They are not interchangeable
Unfortunately, you will need to decide which to get (unless both!) from the beginning. I personally think Nautilus looks much better on the bracelet but even the stainless steel is so easily marked.

Guess I need to do some thinking. Had a look at the Patek site but my eyes are failing me ... can’t see the difference in the case profile !
I started with the gray dial/strap version, but...
sold that to get the white dial/bracelet version, which is now the watch I wear more than any other.
