Patek Philippe 2526:: the state of art of Calatrava
This reference is extremely important among Patek production because was the first self winding watch with one of the best movement ever.
A lot of years to find a first series in like new conditions.
Dial is a beauty and a joy to wear.
The price ( in 1951 ) was 3400 CHF for a yellow gold 2526 fitted with a gold bracelet while the price of a Patek 2499 j was 3800 CHF....
This is an absolutely superb Calatrava.....
....one of teh must-haves for a vintage collector.
