Pimping the 5070G...
Guess not for everyone but I think I like it, a bit of blue energy... I will try it over the next weeks.
When it comes to colors combination this is quite subjective and very personal
I personally have a soft spot for black, any grey and dark blue and we all have the specific colors we would like to enjoy.
Some browns, Burgundies, greens can be very interesting too.
It is nice to see you experiencing a new one and have your feedback after a while.

...is subjectivity the real approach to an objective subject like a watch which is first and foremost an object. We are all enthusiasts and as such we should maintain certain decorum when it comes to objectivfying watches asa objects - thus as they do belong to subjects, i.e. their owners who cherish and collect them!
The watch is so awesome, it does not really matter the strap.
The blue looks good, I think anything grey scale would be better. I would wear it on yellow or red or anything!
For sure this watch doesn't need any adding!
... I am nevertheless trying to spice it up a bit to see how it feels. Grey would be definitely a match but not sure would bring much change to the usual black, will have to try!

For sure the 5070 on standard strap is as good as it gets, but I am liking this combo quite a bit, gives a dynamic allure good for a change!

Well, most of times you cannot go wrong with black straps,
But I find them a bit boring too, I just love colours, and with a white dial it is so easy to go a bit crazy

A dark grey strap matching the dark numerals would for sure be my choice on this reference.

Although this white dial will probably allow for some other options too, have a couple of ideas I will have to try..
I think I would have opted for a darker blue (I know I’m too conservative) but that’s ok for me
