It was a 40th birthday present.
As I can't exactly dictate to PP when I want it delivered, I took possession almost a year ago. But, out of superstition, I decided to wait until the day that the watch was meant for. It was a bit of torture, but, as everything else, it passed quicker than I expected.

It is indeed the former. I waited a year. And no, I am usually not a patient man, but for this one, I bit the bullet. I would sneak a peek every now and then when no one was watching, but never put it on my wrist.

It is a marvel, but stealthy it is not.
A bit on the large side for my tastes, but I will have to adjust (poor me).
If it is size you're worried about, don't be.
You forget it the second you see that dial. And besides, it doesn't feel large on my admittedly small wrist.
In two weeks I will try it for a third time... I have a small wrist too.
The dial is indeed amazing and the case case of course too!
