A Multi-Scale Chronograph
can be either readable on the other end or really messy. Omega Museum piece #3 originating from 1945 represents the "original" design.
The more I play with my 5975P, the more I like it. At the same time I can't really imagine allocating wrist time to the other multi-scale chronograph.

Nevertheless, I wish it would has a sapphire case back...
I tried to get a sapphire case back but no luck (yet).
I'll meet some of thsir people in Geneva in the end of August. After wining and dining I'll ask again.

The 5975 is my favourite release of the 175th pieces. It is a very unusual and interesting piece.
I wish it could time more than 1 minute! But that isn't its purpose. Congrats Kari
If you need to calculate up to 30 minutes,
get 5370P in addition and if also 12 hours are needed, add 5960P.
Those two together with 5975P would form a nice collection. Three chronographs: 40 mm, 40.5 mm and 41 mm. The first (5960P-016) having black opaline dial, the next one having black lacquered dial and the last one having black enamel dial...

Only because you ask....
I have a Sinn version of this type of dial... I say dial rather than 'watch' because I think we all know it is 'dial only' in terms of function.
It's a cool dial.
I like my Sinn but I like it because I bought it spontaneously and not with a lot of seriousness. It's a 'fun' watch.
As you can see it has a thick curved , distorting plexi... fun details...
But I don't know if I would take this type of watch too seriously, personally, just because it's so-called function is in theory only.
You can't really measure time with it. It just looks really cool and technical.
With the Patek pictured, the 'chronograph' is useless, but it looks really cool.
I find the Omega very busy!
I guess though, I would still choose the Omega, because Patek is the obvious ( perhaps less interesting) choice.

I am not familiar with the Sinn, but is it a fly back chrono? In my opinion that makes the Patek more than just a cool dial, but gives it the functionality it was designed for. [nt]

It's nice to have technicel details but
readability is King. Anniversary 5975 is quite readable and like you said, the case (and lugs) is superb.
