I'd like to know you experts
what's your opinion on the Gondolo Calendario 5135G with slate dial, I'm in the run for one, as I think this would be a nice addition to my other Pateks, I love the tonneau shape and slate dial and most of all the size pleases me. Most of them prized around 25K € , I think you get a lot for your money. Never understood why they stopped producing them so fast in fact. Wasn't it loved at all ??
Well anyway, shoot away on what you think of it
!!
I spotted Stephen Fry, an English actor, presenter, comedian..., sporting a yellow gold one once on TV and it looked great on him.
Have to agree with Bruno on the money for value aspect and the collectability.
I liked the 5135 a lot, too.
I would certainly go for a coloured gold version as it fits better to the nobles of this watch, that oozes art deco.
Certainly, knowing it is a watch that will be collectable is always a perfect property of a watch but not necessarily a mandatory one, especially if one can call some great watches already one's own.
