Not a commercial, but what about Rendezvous, the drive across Paris in the early morning
I was shown this film by Briggs Cunningham in his auto museum near Irvine, California. It was around 1980, 4 years after the (rumored underground) movie surfaced.
Briggs had a 35mm copy of the original, and invited a few of us to watch it. We were standing the whole time and I swear a couple times people fell over against his desk or couch!

Lelouche was arrested in the cinema when it aired for the first time. Filmed in a Mercedes, with the Ferrari soundtrack added later

I always liked the RS4 B7 adverts. Power is nothing without control.
There was also an advert for the VW Lupo where a baby jumps out of hospital. That was a haunting advert.
