I drove a previous XK8 (1st gen), they feel and drive pretty much like an XJ from the same era.. The dashboard is very similare too, the car feels heavy. The XK 2nd gen. With its aluminum body and upgraded gearbox, is more responsive, and dives better. It's also the last of the GT's (grand tourismo) 4 seaters for the brand. Ok, even if you cant really seat at the back, it gives you extra room, + they look soo good!...The successor the F-type (now discontinued) is really a 2 seater sport car. The XK still retained this english glamour of wood trims, beautiful leather finish, stitched leather dashboard, leather door panels, they are also few things that look a bit cheap, but I wont go there now.. In

general, its a beautiful car. For me it must be with the tan leather and wood trims, I am old fashion... And this is the last Jag coupé to offer this. The nicest angle is the back, and the booth, that opens with its large back window. There is a few wink at the old 'E type', but in a modern aluminum shell.. You still feel like a "old fashion gentleman" driving an XK, and i enjoy every bit of that...
