At high speed? On the highway? We often read that they give you an official autonomy, but when you speed, the autonomy goes down very quickly. Therefore, in France, the electric refill is not evident when you are on the road.

Battery capacity and availability of charging stations.
I’m not going for EV now because of the lack of charging infrastructure. But with major car manufacturers ending ICE engines and moving to EV, I guess the choice is limited. Maybe Hydrogen cars.

That's it. I am absolutely not convinced. I have several friends who planned a 700, 800, 1000 or 1500 kilometers trip with an electric car in France, that was quite challenging! They spent more time refilling than driving.
Imagine all the petrol stations have EV quick charging
That might be a game changer.

hydrogen as in fuel cell? currently hydrogen is made using hydrocarbons (95%) so the environmental benefit is nonexistent compared to using a regular ICE
And the infrastructure to produce at very large scales hydrogen using carbon-free electric energy is nowhere near ready in terms of TRL.
Hydrogen is a nice bubble that politics like to throw around because they dont have the balls to talk nuclear héhé
If I remember correctly, theres a a fair amount of platinum needed to actually make a fuel cell.

The charging infrastructure is rapidly improving ...
So is the ability of the cars to fast charge. Tesla have the best infrastructure network.
Not yet where I am.
We don’t even have Official tesla cars yet! Only parallel importers which charge an arm /leg for it.

Still think i can have more fun in say a 911 GT3 or Cayman GT4 on most roads.
Impressive what Rimac have done and cant imagine what that kinda straight line performance feels like.

I remember a dragrace

A LaFerrari.
An other car which i can not remember.
Sure, the Tesla won, but the video said nothing about an empty battery or the charge level.
Only who won.
How many people dragrace? How many people use a car to drive a long trip? The last question is the most logical.
But this do nothing off for my admiration for the Porsche Taycan. I would drive it for driving, not for drag racing.
