Perhaps I can say they were wedge-y at first then became curvy and sexy, then curvy and brutal and then flamed out.
I had the joy of driving behind these pals in a bellowing Griffith through the south of France to Monaco.
Another friend here in San Diego had 3 of them at once, all the early wedge shaped ones. I can't recall which engines and models they were.
Certainly FUN definitely HAND-MADE and consequently TROUBLE when overseas and facing SoCalif temperatures. Same could be said of Bristols, Jensen Interceptors, Lotuses, etc.
And yes, because the engines were mostly V6 or V8 and well set back in the chassis, TVR all had enormous central console crowding the passengers.
