no doubt between pre and post Bulgari DR/GG watches. I'm not sure how much of a "collector's item" the old ones will be. However, it shouldn't take away from what the new generation may offer. Members of Bulgari have made it known to us that we'll be "...amazed by the new products to come (both in terms of design as in terms of ... content !)". We'll have to wait and see.
Absolutely stunning watch btw. Your wife has really good taste and you're a lucky man!
Hi, ATW, Aaron,
I know of several people with GG and DR with Bvlgari at this time; service is proceeding as normal (they even kept Meyrin open just for service, though that too will be consolidated to Le Sentier.)
No one can predict the future; does Automobili Lamborghini guarantee to service all Lambos every produced? (no, though they try to be helpful, they also acknowledge that pre-Audi Lambos are not as deeply supported as post Audi Lambos.)
Does Rolex, with NO change of ownership, service their chronographs from the 1960's? No, I know from personal experience.
So this has nothing to do with Bvlgari's business decision in moving DR and GG under the Bvlgari umbrella, and as a business, I doubt they will "leave their customers hanging" in the near term.
Different issues apply in the long term.

I do agree with your statements. I am sure if I ever had a serious issue with my Athys III it would be sent to Switzerland where it would indeed get serviced.
Bvlgari service in NY told me that certain procedures can be performed here and others have to be sent to Switzerland. The reason I said I think they didn't even open up the case was because it was done rather quick and the timing is almost exactly the same as when I dropped it off. Maybe just my luck.
If it continues I will send it back in mid year before the warranty expires.
Dont worry they have only one watchmaker for Gerald Genta & Daniel Roth in the USA they bring him from Switzerland.
Hi yes they are putting the 3 brands on one
you will see the dial with BVLGARI in big in the middle and in small at 6o'clock Gerald Genta or Daniel roth
