Here are
three vintage
rectangular Bvlgari watches which have been designed by
Gerald Genta during the
1970s and
1980s.
Two of them are
dual time, the
third being
time-only.
One is oriented vertically, while the other two are oriented horizontally.
Let's have a
look.
A/ VERTICAL DUAL TIME
I personally
like the
two-tone champagne dial with two
silver registers with black stick and Arabic hour indices.

The
18k yellow gold case measures
25 x
37 mm and it contains
two separate Ebel manual-winding
movements, which can be
set independently by their dedicated
crown.

Like almost all
rectangular watches, it
wears a little
big on the wrist.

The “
B”
signed buckle is a nice touch.
What do you
think about such a watch?

B/ HORIZONTAL DUAL TIME
The two-tone dial is said to have been produced by Stern Fréres.

The case is in
18k yellow gold.

Again, the
buckle is
signed “
B”.

C/ HORIZONTAL TIME ONLY Tim Vaux recounted here how he
found this watch and
traced its provenance:
Unearthing A Forgotten Bvlgari By Gerald Genta

The
buckle bears the “
GG”
hallmark.

Do you
like these timepieces and do you have a
favorite?
The
vertical dual time sings to me the most, personally.
Thanks for looking.
Best, Emmanuel
