the fall of the Berlin wall with an Glashütte Navimatic diving watch from 1974 used by the east-german NVA (Nationale Volksarmee).
A.Lange und Söhne changed after the end of WW2, first to UROFA (Uhrenrohfabrikation Glashütte) and then in the 50's to GUB (Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe)
The GUB produced watches under the name of Glashütte.
After the end of the GDR in 1989, Glashütte splitted in Glashütte Original, A.Lange und Söhne, NOMOS Glashütte, Mühle-nautische Instrumente, and Bruno Söhnle-Glashütte.
